A World Class Venue In Our Backyard

We are so blessed here in south central Wisconsin to live within such a short drive to one of the greatest venues in the country. The Stoughton Opera House was built in a time when music was meant to be felt, authentically and acoustically. There was no distortion or drum mics, there was just a performer with his or [...]

("Craic" (/kræk/ KRAK) or "crack" is a term for news, gossip, fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland. It is often used with the definite article – the craic – as in the expression "What's the craic?" (meaning "How are you?" [...]

Memories of Ireland

Harmonious Wail hosts an annual trip to Ireland (fingers crossed -- soon to be bi-annual!). We hit the road with 20+ of our closest friends, a couple of instruments and a hankering for seeing the nation where the magic started - and to drink some Jameson (or Sims and Maggie’s choice Bushmills!)  and some Guiness (of coarse)  in the process!!!. [...]

January 2017 Wail stuff

Hi All,  here we are, solid into 2017.  My sister was super distraught about the Trump stuff and in a back and forth with her I came up with, "the answer is to stay busy" Busy with helpful, good stuff.  You know - integrity -- dedicated to integrity.  Good slogan.  So here in SDP world and in HW world we [...]
